As You Wish Education Division has been created to train the next generation of elite wedding planners.
Stacey Kallenberg, founder of As You Wish Wedding & Event Design, combines her wedding planning and corporate event planning experience to bring you the latest trends and educational information available within the industry.
The five-day training program will provide you with the tools to become a great wedding planner. Each day will bring a new set of challenges as we explore the history of weddings, the roles of wedding planners, crisis management, and so much more. Upon completion of this course, you will have the tools and resources necessary to work as a wedding planner and start your own wedding planning business.
In addition to learning about weddings and how to be a wedding planner, we will bring in industry experts that will teach you everything you need to know in their field, ranging from legal experts to seamstresses. It is not only important to know how to run your business legally and efficiently, but also to effectively prepare for those unexpected, yet manageable blunders (a rip in a dress or a fallen up-do) that occasionally occur on the Day Of. Our hands-on training will enable you to hone your problem-solving skills and be ready for anything – the type of expertise you simply can not learn from a book.
